What drummer do you think beginners should study first?

Many of you were new to learning drums once, so you will know what it is like to be a starter in terms of learning the drums.

If you think back to when you were a beginner, do you remember which drummer you studied when you were learning? What drummer would you recommend to beginnner to study when first learning the drums?

I never focused on one drummer, but I did try to copy the fills of Mitch Mitchell, the Jimi Hendrix Experience drummer.

But anyway, I first learned before the internet was popular. I used books with audio that I ordered via postal mail.
