Something I have noticed with those who are drummers is how they tend to have one specific drummer who inspires them and also helps in terms of learning and rhythm.

As a drummer, which drummer completely changed how you think about rhythm when playing the drums?

I really enjoyed The Police drummer Stewart Copeland. His sound was way different and mysterious due to his incorporation of reggae.

But, his playing isn't as difficult as it seems. I get the gist of what he does, but it would take some good practice to play what he does.
