Right, GrahamLeics67, not sure I'd call it dull, mate. A blank post at least dont get rained on, and I reckon that beats owt the sky's offering today. Fair enough though, the grey's wearing a bit thin by now.

GrahamLeics67, ha, fair point... they're both proper empty and nowt to look at. Only difference is I can't fix the sky, whereas I've got a Defender in the garage that leaks more than the clouds do. Bloody typical for October, this.GrahamLeics67 wrote:blank post and a grey sky... at least they match, mate.

gaz_whitaker67, not sure I'd say the blank post is empty, mate... I reckon it's the only thing on this thread that's stayed dry. Bit different with the Defender though, mine's the other way round, the old Series II leaks in the garage but the seals only drip when it's dry out, which is bloody typical. Mind, the leeks are loving this rain, so it isnt all bad news round mine. Fair enough on the October moan though, it's wearing thin.gaz_whitaker67 wrote:Only difference is I can't fix the sky, whereas I've got a Defender in the garage that leaks more than the clouds do.

Right, GrahamLeics67, agree on the leeks, mate. Mine are the only thing in the garden that's happy, and the slugs are loving it even more. Seals dripping only when it's dry sounds about right for a Land Rover, I reckon half of mine were just a bit of old rubber and hopeGrahamLeics67 wrote:Bit different with the Defender though, mine's the other way round, the old Series II leaks in the garage but the seals only drip when it's dry out, which is bloody typical.

GrahamLeics67, a Land Rover that only leaks when it's dry is just showing off... the leeks have got the right idea though.GrahamLeics67 wrote:Bit different with the Defender though, mine's the other way round, the old Series II leaks in the garage but the seals only drip when it's dry out, which is bloody typical.

tbh i'd not call it showing off mate... mine's more your equal opportunities leaker, drips wet or dry, and the passenger footwell has definately got its own weather system. Leeks are another story, mine are mostly just feeding the slugsGrahamLeics67 wrote:gaz_whitaker67, not sure I'd say the blank post is empty, mate...
